Paul ChristmanPaul Christman
President and CEO


Paul Christman leads Quest Software's public sector subsidiary, covering the federal government, state and local governments, and higher education in the U.S. In this role, he oversees all sales, reseller channels, alliances, marketing, systems consulting, and operations.  He is responsible for the subsidiary's long-term growth and profitability as well as key customer relationships.  Mr. Christman joined Quest in April 2005 as director of public sector sales where he led teams in creating strategic technology relationships with state and local governments and higher education institutions nationwide.

Previously, Mr. Christman spent five years at VERITAS Software as national sales manager and business development manager for state and local governments and public education customers.  Prior to that, he was a district manager for Metiom, an electronic procurement software company focused on automating government purchasing.  Mr. Christman has also held various sales and sales management positions at Microsoft and Lotus.  He has been building his experience in government purchasing, contracting, consulting, and software product marketing since 1995 and has worked in the software industry since the mid 1980s.

Christman holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Hamilton College.


Mike Singer
Vice President, Federal Sales


Michael Singer directs the teams responsible for supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, civilian, intelligence and defense contractor markets. Before joining Quest at the start of 2012, Mr. Singer was President of Distributed Solutions, Inc. (DSI), a leader for 17 years in acquisition lifecycle management solutions to the Federal Government. His background prior to DSI includes positions as Vice President of Avaya's Federal Business Unit, Senior Director of Government Sales & Marketing for Adobe Systems, Inc., and a Director and Managing Director at Sun Microsystems.

With over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, Mr. Singer has been recognized repeatedly for his contributions to sales, marketing, executive level management and leadership. He is also a featured speaker at numerous IT industry events, a lecturer at The National Defense University, Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors for the USO of Metropolitan Washington, a member of the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and President of AFCEA DC.


Tammi ShapiroTammi Shapiro
Vice President, Operations Facility Security Officer


Tammi Shapiro's team is responsible for financials, GSA contracts, security clearances, and business management. She joined Quest in April of 2006 and has more than decade of experience managing operations in the public sector. Prior to Quest, Mrs. Shapiro was a contractor for the Department of Homeland Security and worked for a disaster recovery firm. She also spent 14 years with Lucent Technologies in senior roles in operations and marketing. Additionally, Mrs. Shapiro has expertise working with the intelligence community. She holds a bachelor's degree in technology management from the University of Maryland.


Dave BaldwinDave Baldwin
Director, Public Sector Sales


Dave Baldwin leads sales activities for Quest's database solutions, serving the federal government, state and local governments, and higher education in all 50 states. He builds business relationships with customers that use Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, and DB2 database platforms. Mr. Baldwin joined Quest in 2001. Prior to that, he held a number of positions in sales and sales management in both government and commercial markets. He is an active member of several IT associations including AFCEA and ITAA. In his spare time, Mr. Baldwin enjoys playing hockey and working with special needs children. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.


Dmitry KaganskyDmitry Kagansky
Chief Technology Officer, Federal


Dmitry Kagansky joined Quest in 2005 as an identity management architect for Quest's North American commercial team, later managing the identity and access management technical team. In early 2008, he and his family relocated to the UK, where he worked with many public and private sector clients across Europe before returning to the U.S. in late 2009.

Prior to Quest, Mr. Kagansky held both technical and management positions with traditional companies such as Xerox, Thompson Technologies and Cabot Corporation as well as startups such as Ask Jeeves, eTour.com and Ockham Technologies. His experience ranges from development and QA, to data warehousing and system administration. In addition, he has taught undergraduate classes on web development and data management at the University of Georgia.

Mr. Kagansky is a CISSP and MCP, and holds an MBA from the University of Georgia with an emphasis in information systems and operations management. He also holds a bachelors of business administration in banking and finance from Hofstra University. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife and two children.
